| Submitted by ANTHONY DELGADO 16:39 on 5 December 2011 | IS SIINTO S.WESSMAN STILL ALIVE? I CAME ACROSS AN OLD MILITARY PADFOLLIO CONTAING VARIOUS CARDS/LETTERS BELONGING TO A PVC CHARLES P. TYKS. A LETTER DATED APRIL 26 1946, ALERTING MEMBERS OF THE BLACK PANTHERS 66TH INFANTRY DIVISION, OF PUBLICATION OF THE PANTHERS COMBAT HISTORY BY "THE ARMY AND NAVY PUBLISHING COMPANY". THE LETTER WAS SIGNED BY SIINTO S.WESSMAN PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER 66TH INFANTRY DIVISION. I THOUGHT THAT MR. WESSMAN MIGHT WANT THIS LETTER AND IF HE MIGHT BE ABLE TO HELP ME WITH ANY FAMILY RELATIVE INFORMATION FOR CHARLES P.TYKES. I AM NOT INTERESTED IN ANY MONETARY GAIN. I ONLY WANT TO RETURN THESE ITEMS TO THEIR OWNERS OR RELATIVES. THANK YOU. | Submitted by Kurt Kuhlman 7:18 on 8 December 2011 | Looks like Mr. Wessman has passed on. Here's a link with more info: http://www.locategrave.org/l/3244279/Wessman An odd coincidence that we're both researching him at the same time. I'm trying to find out if he ever wrote any articles for the OLD Cosmopolitan national magazine in the 1940s. Good Luck. |
