This book title keeps popping up whenever I try to find out anything about Gen. Chynoweth (Philippines 1941). Does this book have anything to do with the fall of the Philippines in WWII. I can't seem to find a synopsis of the book anywhere.

This is important to me because my Grandfather served with a General Chynoweth in the Philippine and was part of his staff at the time of the surrender. I am searching for any further info concerning the actions of this command. My Grandfather died as a POW.

Thankyou in advance for any contact.

Bellamy Park: Memoirs is an autobiography of the life of General Chynoweth. It goes into detail regarding the fall of Bataan and Cebu in the Philipines where General Chynoweth was leading a guerrilla operation at the time of the surrender as well as the rest of his military career. As he was my grandfather, I knew him well when I was a child and he was in his 80s. His life encompassed some of the most momentous and historical periods in our country's history.
