TOPIC: Can anyone recommend a good personal memoir of the desert air war?

Hi:
I just sprang for a couple of classic Balantine WW2 paperbacks about the RAF/Commonwealth airwar on the Channel front & Western Europe: "Wing Leader" & "The Big Show"
Now the question: Did Balantine or anyone else publish a similar type of book for someone flying for the RAF/Commonwealth fighter force during the War in the Western Desert? thank you all ahead of time;

Nickolas Mitsialis

"Spitfire Leader: the story of Wing Cdr Evan 'Rosie' Mackie" of RNZAF by Max C. Avery with Christopher Shores (Grub St London c1997) has chapter 5 on RAF 243 Squadron in North Africa.
