Faber J. H. Faber continues to mail catalogs with books by authors from rotating blocks of the alphabet. Catalog No. 60 contains books by authors whose last names start with "E" or "F" as well as sections for foreign language titles and "Late arrivals, recent publications, and titles of special interest".

News from Rienner Editor Dan Eades reports from Lynne Rienner Publishers about their plans: "We're starting a military studies list here and I'm working with a number of authors at this time. Our first book will be Rob Citino's The Path to Blitzkrieg, a study of the German Army between the wars, with emphasis on maneuvers and the development of doctrine. Later we'll have Walter Dunn's The Battle for White Russia, 1944. "Our list will have a three-pronged focus: books of academic interest that try to establish the facts of military history and tell it with flair (Walter Dunn's books are good examples); books for the military professional who is interested in learning about his profession; and a few military memoirs."
