News from Rienner
12 June 1998

Editor Dan Eades reports from Lynne Rienner Publishers about their plans:

"We're starting a military studies list here and I'm working with a number of authors at this time. Our first book will be Rob Citino's The Path to Blitzkrieg, a study of the German Army between the wars, with emphasis on maneuvers and the development of doctrine. Later we'll have Walter Dunn's The Battle for White Russia, 1944.

"Our list will have a three-pronged focus: books of academic interest that try to establish the facts of military history and tell it with flair (Walter Dunn's books are good examples); books for the military professional who is interested in learning about his profession; and a few military memoirs."
