News from the city of Stalin Author Anton Joly tells us all four current volumes of his award-winning Stalingrad Battle Atlas series have been updated with revised editions in 2017, but volume five, the last in the series, is not yet on the horizon.

Senshi Sosho The Corts Foundationresponsible for the translation, editing, and preparation of the text and mapstells us volume 26 of the Japanese Senshi Sosho series has been slightly delayed, but it should be available from Leiden University Press in April or May 2018 as The Operations of the Navy in the Dutch East Indies and the Bay of Bengal. Also, "The board of our foundation decided to conclude the Senshi Sosho project with an air force volume. The [Japanese] National Institute of Defense Studies granted us the copyright to publish a third volume with parts of volumes 5 and 34. This involves the air force and also the operations of the Japanese 16th Army at Sumatra."

News from the Netherlands Jack Didden reports that De Zwaardvisch has tentatively decided to reprint Autumn Gale. This would be a very small print run and unavailable from the usual sources, so those with an interest in the book should contact De Zwaardvisch directly. In addition, Jack has begun preliminary work on a new book about the retreat of German 15th Army in 1944. It's not expected to be available before summer 2019 at the earliest.

In memoriam Andrew Stanley Leongwho served as a B-26 bomber crewman in WWII, served again in Korea, and ultimately retired from the Air Force as a lieutenant colonelpassed away on 24 November in California at the age of 95.
