Jeannie Rousseau—a Frenchwoman who gathered intelligence and forwarded reports to London about the German V-weapons program and other topics, was arrested twice, and spent time in three German prison camps—died on 25 August in France at the age of 98.

The panzers are coming

For a variety of reasons, we don't normally mention pre-pub offers. In this case, the new promotion for Panzerkrieg: German Armoured Operations at Stalingrad, volume 1: Panzer-Abteilungen 103, 129 and 160 (the working title was "Stalingrad: Graveyard of the Panzers") seems to indicate the book's publication date—still unspecified—draws nigh.
