Page proofs with us and have been checked. Last of the indexing being done currently and should be complete by next week. Going to the printers early June, and planned launch at Duxford Air Show in early July. Circa 630 pages plus index. Jacket cover showing 14th Fighter Group P-38 intercepting formation of Ju 52/3ms. "The team is already quietly working on Vol 4 which we are getting pretty excited about - but please don't press us yet for programme. We need a bit of a rest after Vol 3! I also suddenly realised that this year marks the 50th Anniversary of the publication of the first 'Aces High' - so I am now in my 80th year. Giovanni and Frank are both in their 70s and Russell, although somewhat younger has nevertheless now retired from the 'day job'. Even Winfried admits to beginning to see the first glimmers of retirement light at the end of the tunnel! More news around the end of the year."
