Author Robert Edwards tells us his next book is progressing nicely:

"Tip of the Spear picks up where Scouts Out: left off. It will be about the same size (512 pages plus a 48-page color insert), but concentrates more on tactics and operations in the major European theaters of war, using previously unpublished small-unit histories and memoirs, as well as a large number of previously unpublished images that are extensively captioned. As with Scouts Out, the co-authors are Michael H. Pruett and Michael Olive. Stackpole anticipates publication in October."
