News from Joe Balkoski
Author Joe Balkoski sends this message:
"I have just completed a new book titled Ever Forward: The 29th Infantry Division in the Rhineland, November - December 1944. This is Volume IV of my ongoing History of the 29th Infantry Division in WWII, which should end up being five volumes total. Ever Forward tells the sobering story of the US Army's November offensive on the Western Front, which General Bradley had stated 'would be on the Rhine by Christmas.' It never got close. I do not have a publisher yet, but hope to soon."
