Chris Miller—a USN sailor who survived the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and served aboard USS Devilfish in the Pacific—died 20 October in California at the age of 92.

Mario Adino Lucchesi—a veteran of the US Navy who manned a gun on the deck of the USS Tennessee during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941—died in California on 23 September at the age of 88.
