Recommended reading We constantly receive books from publishers, distributors, authors, and others. Most are competent, workmanlike efforts, appealing to a fair number of readers. Even the weakest arrivals almost always have a few redeeming characteristics, making them perfect for somebody's bookshelf somewhere. Only a small percentage of new arrivals stand out as excellent, notably superior works. Whenever we receive books like that, we add them to our Recommended Reading page, and over the last few days we've updated that list with four new titles. Definitely worth a look.
