Sixty-five years ago today, on 27 September 1942, Australian 25th Brigade pushed forward around Imita Ridge as Japanese forces retreated back down the Kokoda Track, ending the threat to Port Moresby and Australia.

Anyone in an English-speaking nation who has searched for a copy of a major French title or series (such as Les Grandes Unites Francaises) knows how tough it can be to find high quality books about WWII published in France. We were consequently pleased to receive in the mail today a serious (almost 300 pages) catalog of military titles available from Librairie Historique Clavreuil, a secondhand bookshop in Paris.
