News from Dilip Sarkar Author and publisher Dilip Sarkar sends word of his new endeavor: "In 2002 for personal reasons I closed down Ramrod Publications, which my wife, Anita, and I founded in 1992, but life just wasn't as fulfilling thereafter. Last March, therefore, I left the British police service, after 22 years, to do what I really wanted to do full time: research, write, and publish. Victory Books is my new publishing operation, which I am running with my cousin, the talented graphic designer Christopher Gale. At long last I have written Johnnie Johnson: Spitfire Top Gun, Part Two, covering the D-Day period and Battle for Normandy, and this will be available mid-August - early September. We are also concurrently re-printing part one in softback, and these titles will be the first of many from Victory Books...."
