Editor's pick Sometimes when we run across an interesting/unusual/informative book, especially an older or out-of-print one, we like to bring it to your attention. Here's one: Weigley, Russell. Eisenhower's Lieutenants: The Campaign of France and Germany, 1944-1945. Bloomington: Indiana University Press, 1981 Out of all the thousands of books on the western front during 1944-1945, after more than twenty years Weigley's work remains by far the best single volume covering all the ground action and all the Allied leaders. An absolutely essential book for any WWII library.
