News from Cass Hugh Davie sends notice of the latest publishing acquisition: "Frank Cass & Co...has been acquired by Taylor & Francis. Founder and chairman Frank Cass...will remain with the company for six months to oversee its integration into T&F.... Excluded from the deal were Irish Academic Press, the publisher of books on Irish history and culture; Vallentine Mitchell, the Jewish-interest publisher; and International Scholarly Book Services, the US distributor." According to Hugh, there might be some slight delays in production, but "...things will carry on as normal."
