Although nowadays the Classic imprint is owned by Ian Allan, the original gang of authors, editors, and designers continues to turn out attractive, high-quality aviation books for Classic Publications. Their two newest releases are Helicopters of the Third Reich by Steve Coates and Strike in the Balkans, April-May, 1941 by Eric Mombeek, et al. Also coming soon from Classic: Genda's Blade: 343 Kokutai, Japan's Squadron of Aces by Henry Sakaida and Koji Takaki as well as Patton's Eyes in the Sky: USAAF Combat Reconnaissance Missions North West Europe 1944-45 by Tom Ivie.

Ms. Behrens, in this hard-to-find volume of the "Civil Series" of the British official histories, provides a scholarly analysis of Allied shipping issues with an unsurpassed wealth of hard data in dozens of tables and charts. A fundamental source for any serious investigation of the subject.
